THE TRUE BLISS
'Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it' (Lk 11, 28)

Lk 11, 27-28
While saying this, a woman from the crowd raised her voice and said, "Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you."
But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
Jesus standing in front of a lectern with an open book, is not only one who reads the Word of God, He is the Word made flesh.
Consequently to listeners of all ages are required not only a listening and intellectual reflection, but - more importantly - a bond of friendship and blood.
The Virgin Mary witnesses to the first beatitude of who becomes brother, sister, mother of Jesus, because she accepts and lives, every day, the Word of God.
As he stated by St. John, the sons of God, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God were generated.
