JESUS AMONG THE DOCTORS

Lk 2, 41-50
His parents went every year to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the feast. But, after days, as they resumed their way back, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem without his parents knowing it.
Believing that he was in the caravan, they journeyed for a day and then they sought him among their relatives and acquaintances; not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem looking for him. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
When they saw him they were astonished, and his mother said, "Son, why have you done this? Behold, your father and I have sought thee sorrowing. " And he answered them: "Why am I looking for? Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business? ".
But they did not understand what he had told them.
Joseph and Mary lost Jesus and seek Him with great anxiety; they find him after returning to the Temple. He sat up, almost in a liturgical presidential seat, He looks like a Master, which enlightens and teaches theologians and exegetes of Jerusalem. Its authority derives from the fatherhood of God himself.
It is already an adult dress, with a red imperial robe (a sign of his authority), and the blue mantle (sign of human wisdom), holding the scroll of the Scriptures, is aimed at doctors, but also to her parents.
