THE ANNUNCIATION (THE NEW CREATION)
'Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you' (Lk 1: 28)

Lk 1, 26-38
The sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man of the house of David, named Joseph. The virgin's name was Mary. He came to her and said, "Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you."
But she was very upset and pondered what sort of greeting like this. The angel said, "Fear not, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive a child, you will give birth and name him Jesus. 32Sarà great and will be called Son of The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David 33e will reign over the house of Jacob and his kingdom will have no end. "
Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?". The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power will cover you with its shadow.
And so the child will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing is impossible with God ».
Mary said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord done to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.
Day by day, the bells continue to sound the 'Ave Maria'. To bring back to memory the beginning of everything, the alpha point of a story finally good to all men.
In fact, a messenger of the sky appears to a young Jewish woman of Nazareth with the stunning announcement. God doesn't stop in front of the human sin and intends to start again, as with Adam and Eve, as in the Garden of Eden (alluded to some animals and the tree that you see on the hill).
God has placed his face on the Virgin's veil, in her womb Christ takes color and form and the human personality.
The angels, all the heavenly powers, all created realities facing in a tiny village in Galilee, Nazareth. In a small moment of time. With bated breath. Waiting for something that may not happen.
It is the masterpiece of divine wisdom. The whole edifice of the universe, the whole plot of the story depends on the small assent of Mary.
Everything is based on a tiny pebble.
